Public Input

In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the FAA released and made available for public review an Environmental Assessment (EA) that has been prepared to consider the potential environmental impacts of the implementation of the Cleveland-Detroit Metroplex (CLE-DTW Metroplex) Project.

Early notice of the FAA’s intent to prepare an EA for the CLE-DTW Metroplex Project was issued on June 11, 2015. The EA was released and made available for public review and comment on November 10, 2017. The FAA encouraged interested parties to review the EA and provide written comments during the public comment period. Written comments were accepted by the FAA until December 11, 2017. The FAA issued a Finding of No Significant Impact and Record of Decision (FONSI-ROD) for the Project on April 30, 2018.
